My fuel door on my 2008 vw 2.0t passat won’t open. i hear the sound like the door is trying to open, but it obviously doesn’t open. i tried looking for the emergency cable release but i don’t know what it looks like.. 2003 vw golf tdi manual transmisssion 325,000 + miles. great car! i am having problems with the fuel door actuator. i took the actuator out and with a 12 volt battery it work fine. i tested the wiring jack and when you pull on the fuel door button on the drivers door the wiring jack is energized. so i pluged jack into the actuator and nothing..
