T5 door handle removal general t5 technical. only done the sliding door myself so far and it was a piece of cake. removed door card, at back of handle on left hand side you see a torx screw, undo it, back outside, wiggle the stubby bit out - the torx grub screw was holding it in, handle part then moves over to the right and then out.. Take off cover from handle and remove two t30 torx, 1 more torx in the lower centre of panel, pull the panel, clips dont often break, but dont need all of them to put the panel on anyway, overengineered as usual the vw's.
