My home link garage door opener fell off my sun visor. the tabs are broken on the backside. can anyone suggest where (online) i can order a new button panel or help me with the vw part number for it?. When you have the garage opener set in learn mode, press the home link button a few times if it does not learn it from the first press. this is more so because of the jumping code method that has been in use by the garage openers for the past 7 to 10 years.. (self.golfgti) buy a cheap $15 opener from amazon, get a button and some wire, and install it into one of your blank console switches. lots of people have garages and on a vw product that is closer to luxury than many other competitors, it isn't weird to expect that option..
