2008 eos fuel door won't open with switch. is there a alternate method to open? submitted: 9 years ago. category: vw. show more. show less. ask your own vw question. got a pre owned 2008 vw eos in feb. 2011 was back to the service dept. 4 time for water leaking in when it rains.. For what it's worth mine has to be pushed in a very "precise" spot or it won't open. that spot's much more towards the centre of the fuel door than i expected it would be when i first got the tig. i often take 2 or 3 presses to get it right even after two years !!! cheers. 07 eos. the fuel filler door won't open. 07 eos. the fuel... 07 eos. the fuel filler door won't open. neither will the trunk. also the top won't go down. i have checked every fuse in the engine compartment and at the left end of the dash. the roof on my 2008 vw eos is open it stuck when it was in the trunk but the flaps did not close on.
The vw dealer told my mom that they would not fix the fuel door on her 2012 vw passat tdi with 16000 miles on it. when i was home at christmas we took it back to the dealer and the service rep. Fuel door won't open vw mkiv-a4 tdis (ve and pd) mine always worked fine, until i arced the wiring cnxn's in door , to the body ground while installing front door speakers, it was weird because i could hear the solenoid barely engaging for a while after, then not at all, i pulled the fuse, measured continuity across, and it was open..
